Enjoyable, but a bit busy
I purchased day admission tickets and had a generally good time. The restored Victorian productive gardens were lovely, and I really enjoyed the heritage seeds from the plant sales. However, it was quite busy, especially around the main paths. I went in the summer holidays, so maybe that's why. It would have been nicer with fewer crowds. The parking was free, which is always a plus, and getting tickets online was straightforward. Overall, a good experience, but maybe try to visit on a weekday.
Really nice day out
Just went for a day out with my partner, got the day admission tickets. The place is huge, you could easily spend all day there. We particularly liked the sub-tropical jungle part, it was pretty cool. Even had lunch at the Heligan Kitchen, which was decent. The plant sales area had some interesting stuff too, almost bought a fern. It was a really chill day, much better than being stuck inside.

Loved the Night Garden show!
We went for the Night Garden Lantern Show tickets and it was absolutely magical! The lights were stunning, and walking through the gardens at night felt so special.
